We were appointed to lead the launch of the Leeds social media presence for Chick-fil-A — the brand’s first UK restaurant — with the challenge of introducing a well-established US brand to a new British audience in a way that felt locally relevant, culturally aware, and engaging from day one.
Our strategy focused on translating Chick-fil-A’s core pillars of community, hospitality, and quality experience into a UK-native social narrative. Rather than simply presenting the brand, we aimed to humanise it, building familiarity through storytelling and personality-led content designed to resonate with a Leeds audience.
This came to life through community-led customer interviews capturing authentic first impressions, alongside playful “this or that” staff content that showcased the personality behind the brand. We also developed food-led storytelling that introduced the menu through discovery and curiosity, helping educate a new audience while driving appetite appeal.
Together, this approach positioned Chick-fil-A not just as a new restaurant opening in Leeds, but as a community-focused brand entering the UK with clarity, warmth, and cultural sensitivity — building awareness and connection from launch.
