Trackstaa partnered with HOKA for the PB Protocol athlete programme, and brought in SPS to create content designed to build engagement and excitement around athletes ahead of and during the London Marathon. The project focused on capturing authentic storytelling across multiple touch points, highlighting both performance and personality within the programme.
In the lead-up to the event, we produced a podcast featuring British long-distance runner and PB Protocol coach Ellis Cross alongside his coach Andrew Hobdell, discussing training, mindset, race preparation and predictions for the weekend. The episode launched across YouTube and social channels over marathon weekend to set the tone for the campaign.
During the London Marathon, we captured on-the-ground content showcasing PB Protocol athletes as well as key moments from the wider event, including world record performances and the sub-2-hour marathon milestone. This brought a live, high-energy perspective to the coverage as the race unfolded.
Post-race, we conducted interviews with PB Protocol athletes to capture immediate reactions, reflections, and emotional responses to their performances. Together, the content created a cohesive narrative spanning preparation, race day, and recovery, driving strong engagement across Trackstaa’s social platforms.
